Billing
Taking a membership, changing it, and what happens to a demo workspace when you subscribe.
Where it lives
Account menu → your role pill → Workspace, then the billing card. Or go
straight to /upgrade.
Owners only. Admins and members see a pointer rather than a payment form.
The two memberships
Solo includes almost everything. Signature adds fully custom design — the visual website builder and one-of-one Studio commissions — and the recruiting tools.
Current prices are on the pricing page. See Memberships for the full comparison.
Paying
Checkout is hosted by Stripe on their own page. You are sent there, you pay, and you come back. We never see or store your card.
If the page comes back before the payment has finished registering, it waits and tells you so rather than showing a wrong state.
Managing an existing membership
The same card opens Stripe’s billing portal: change your card, see invoices, cancel.
Converting a demo workspace
A demo workspace comes pre-filled with an example book — listings, clients, deals, tasks — so you can see how everything behaves before committing.
Taking a membership clears that example book. Specifically:
Cleared: every listing, contact, deal, task, playbook run, studio piece, website page, and journal post.
Kept: your account and login, the workspace itself and its name, everyone’s membership, your web address and any custom domain, and your billing.
It clears the book, not the account. The upgrade screen says so before you commit, and there is no path to a paid workspace that skips that warning.
If there is something in the demo book you want to keep — a page you have written, a piece you have made — copy it out before you subscribe.
If you are under an agency
Agency children do not bill themselves. The brokerage’s contract covers the full house, and your workspace settings point you at your principal instead of showing a payment form. See Agencies.
If billing is not configured
In some environments payment is not switched on. The buttons are visibly disabled and say so plainly — they do not fail on click. Every Signature feature is open in that state rather than locked behind a checkout that cannot complete.
