Pages and the journal
Custom pages — an about page, a buyer’s guide, a private preview behind an access gate — and a journal you write in a proper editor.
Custom pages
Website → Pages. Start from a template or a blank page.
| Template | For |
|---|---|
| Blank | Anything |
| About | Your story |
| Buyer’s guide | What working with you looks like |
| Seller’s guide | The listing process |
| Private preview | An email-gated look at something not public |
| Press | Coverage and mentions |
Pages compose in the builder, the same as your landing page.
Each page has settings: its web address, whether it is published, and its access gate.
Access gates
A page can be:
| Gate | Means |
|---|---|
| Public | Anyone |
| Password | A shared access code you give out |
| Name and email address to enter | |
| Phone | Name and phone number to enter |
Email and phone gates are lead magnets: identifying yourself is the price of entry, and the visitor becomes a contact in your book.
Gated pages are hidden from search engines, never appear on your journal index, and the lock screen reveals only the title.
It is stored so you can read it back from the settings panel and tell someone what it is. Treat it as a shared access code for a private preview — not as a password protecting anything sensitive.
Once someone unlocks a page they stay in for a month on that browser.
The journal
Website → Blog. Posts are written in a proper rich-text editor: headings, bold and italic, lists, quotes, rules, links, and inline photographs, with a title, a teaser, and a cover image.
The public post carries a masthead — title, date, teaser, cover — and your brand’s display face on the headings.
The /blog index appears once you have published a post. Before that it is
absent rather than empty.
Published posts also feed the Blog block, if you have put one on your landing page.
Elle writes posts
Write a journal post about the Q3 Heights market — three hundred words, optimistic but honest, mention the inventory shift.
She writes in markdown and it becomes properly formatted prose in your brand voice. Open it in the editor afterwards to adjust.
She can create and update pages too, and edit their sections.
Reserved addresses
Some addresses belong to the app — blog, contact, and a few others — and
your listings own theirs. The address picker will not let you take one, so your
real pages always win.
Previewing drafts
Website → Preview with a page selected shows unpublished pages and looks straight past their gate — so you can check a private preview without unlocking it.
