By text and phone
One number reaches Elle by text or by voice. Same assistant, same access to everything — useful for exactly the times you are not at a desk.
Setting it up
You have to verify your mobile number first. Elle answers to verified numbers only — caller ID is how she knows whose workspace she is working in, since a phone carries no login.
- Open the account menu → Brand → the Profile tab.
- Find the Concierge line card.
- Enter your mobile number. A six-digit code arrives by text.
- Enter the code. The card now shows the number to save in your phone.
Save that number as Elle. It is the same number for texts and calls.
A mobile number can be verified to one person only. If you share a phone with an assistant, they will need their own number and their own login.
Texting her
Text her the way you would text a colleague.
Just left the Ridgewood showing. Buyers loved it, want to see comps in the Heights under 2m.
She logs the touch, pulls the comps, and texts back. Replies arrive as ordinary messages, split across several if long.
Photographs work. Send a picture from a showing and it can become a listing photo, a library image, or your headshot:
[photo] add this to the Ridgewood listing
[photo] save this to my library, call it “Heights streetscape”
Because it is one continuous thread, context carries: “add another bedroom to that one” means the listing you were just discussing.
Text reset or new chat to clear the thread and start fresh.
Calling her
Call the same number and she picks up. It is a real conversation — she speaks, you speak, and she does not read out URLs or record identifiers at you.
Useful in the car:
- “What’s on today?”
- “Brief me on the Webb file before I get there.”
- “Log that I met Sarah Chen at the Compass event — she’s at Douglas Elliman, about forty million a year.”
- “Remind me to send the Ridgewood comps this afternoon.”
Every call keeps its own transcript. Afterwards it appears in your Inbox under Concierge, with a summary, and any action items she picked up can be turned into tasks with one click. See The concierge line.
If she does not recognise you
An unverified number gets one polite pointer explaining how to link a phone, and then silence — she will not talk to a stranger about your business, and she will not keep replying to a wrong number.
On a call, an unrecognised number is told the line is for verified members and the call ends there. Nothing is recorded.
What is kept
- Texts — the conversation, capped at recent history, visible in your drawer as Texts.
- Calls — a transcript per call, plus a summary.
Both are yours; both are visible only inside your workspace.
The phone channels are enabled per environment. If the Concierge line card on your Profile says the channel is not configured, it is not switched on for your account yet — the in-app drawer and the mobile app are unaffected.
